Do I need a yoga mat? What do I bring?
You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat if you have one. Manduka eKO mats are provided at the studio to use free of charge. Yoga props – blocks, blankets, bolsters – are also provided. Please bring a water bottle.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily and freely. Yoga is typically practiced barefoot, without socks or shoes. For restorative yoga and meditation, you may wish to bring an extra layer and socks.
Should I eat before class?
It is recommended that you eat at least two hours before practicing yoga. If you need a small snack, eat something light thirty to sixty minutes beforehand.
Do you teach at multiple studios?
Yes! In addition to teaching private yoga and small group classes at Healing Yoga NH, I also teach group classes at the Bodyworks Depot Square studio and at the Bond Wellness Center at the Monadnock Community Hospital. Please check your schedule carefully to ensure you’re heading to the correct location.
Bodyworks Depot Square is at 12 Depot Street, Peterborough, NH. This studio is located above the Toadstool Bookshop, and has a staircase to enter around back.
The Bond Wellness Center is located at 458 Old Street Road in Peterborough, NH.
How early should I arrive?
Arriving early before class can help you settle in and prepare yourself to be present for your practice. If this is your first visit to the studio, please arrive at least ten minutes before class to fill out new student paperwork and get a quick tour of the space. Classes and private sessions begin and end on time. Late entries to group classes after five minutes are not permitted.
Do I need to sign up for class beforehand?
Yes, classes are limited in size to ensure more individual attention, and pre-registration is required for all classes at Healing Yoga NH and workshops.
Drop-ins are welcome for weekly group classes at Bodyworks.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, there is a 24-hour cancellation policy for private yoga sessions. Cancellations can be made online, by phone call, text, or email. Any cancellation made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will be charged for the full amount.
What is your refund policy?
All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.
