Whether you are brand new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, private yoga instruction will focus on your individual needs and goals, on your own schedule.
A private session looks different for every student. We’ll start each session with a check-in to see how you’re feeling physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically. From this information, and taking in to account the goals you set in our initial consultation, I’ll offer postures, breath work, meditation, yoga philosophy and modifications to help bring your body into balance. We’ll work on safe and proper alignment in the yoga postures, often with adjustments and hands-on assists, and finding a steady breath. Each practice will end with a few minutes of rest and guided relaxation.

Learning how to modify for health concerns or injuries
Practicing breath work to reduce stress and anxiety
Gaining confidence for group yoga classes
Building a safe foundation for more advanced yoga poses
Receiving a personalized meditation for emotional balance
Relaxing into a "spa-like" restorative yoga practice
Refining alignment in yoga postures
Creating a home practice for days when you can't get to the studio
