Yoga Nidra is a conscious relaxation meditation practiced lying down in savasana or corpse pose. (Nidra means sleep in Sanskrit.) In this deeply relaxing and healing practice, we turn inwards, coming to a state between sleep and wakefulness, where we can release layers of inner tension and plant the seeds of intention for positive transformation.
All levels are welcome. No yoga or meditation experience required.

RESTORATIVE YOGA BLISS
Return your body to a state of balance and calm with restorative yoga. Melt into gentle yoga postures, using bolsters, blocks, and blankets to support the body in easeful stretching to release tension. Soothing breathwork, loving hands-on touch, and essential oil aromatherapy help bring you deeper into a state of bliss! We will end with an extended shavasana and Yoga Nidra, a guided conscious relaxation meditation, allowing for deep levels of healing to occur on the physical, mental and emotional planes. All levels are welcome.

BEGINNER YOGA SERIES
Looking to start practicing yoga, but don't know where to begin? This Beginner Yoga Series consists of four consecutive classes that build upon each other, tailored to complete beginners (and great for anyone wishing to revisit the basics!)
In these classes, you'll learn some of the basic yoga postures, focusing on safe and proper alignment, as well as how to use yoga props. The small class size and individual attention ensure modifications are offered specific to your needs. In addition to the postures, you’ll be introduced to breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques.
Learn yoga in a friendly and non-intimidating environment, helping you to build confidence to attend group yoga classes.

FOUNDATIONS OF FLOW
Flow yoga is a union of breath and movement. In this workshop, you’ll learn the sequence of postures in Surya Namaskar, or Sun Salutations, in the Hatha and Vinyasa traditions. Focusing on healthy and safe alignment, we’ll break down each pose, as well as the transitions from Chaturanga to Upward Facing Dog and Downward Facing Dog. Ujjayi yogic breathing will be the foundation of our practice.
This workshop is great for the continuing beginner, and anyone looking to revisit alignment basics. The small class size and individual attention ensure modifications are offered specific to your needs.
YIN YOGA & MEDITATION
Replenish, balance, and restore. Treat yourself to a deeply nourishing Yin Yoga practice and relaxing Yoga Nidra meditation.
The opposite of our active, yang lifestyles, Yin Yoga balances the body and mind as we find stillness in floor postures held for 3-5 minutes each. These long holds help "stress" and lengthen the connective tissue around the hips, pelvis, and lower spine, with an added benefit of refreshing the energy channels within the body. Yin Yoga emphasizes stillness, awareness, and compassion. This quiet practice is not always easy or comfortable, but is great for all levels. We'll end with a nice, long Savasana and guided Yoga Nidra meditation.
